Yep. Via TRU press release.
Thank you for compiling all the info and providing check lists! Much appreciated!
Derek your the man! I’ve been following this and I’m so stoked. My birthday is the 13th so this is probably the best gift ever.. well it coming out on my Bday is lol. My plan –
TRU Manchester (legendaries) -> Gamestop (dark ed.)-> my brother will be at Target (nitro) then accross the street to walmart (enchanted hoot).
Miss you bud!
One of these lists is not like the other things. One of these things just doesn’t belong… 😉
I’d really like to hear anyone with a midnight TRU post a success story of combining the pre-order deal with LC Hex and the extra free figure, the $10 off FritoLay coupon, the 20% off TRU coupon, and getting credit towards the Green Gill Grunt and 10% gift card value back!
Success story here! We got our pre-order 3ds starter pack, LC Hex, 1 free single pack (LC Warnado), and the poster for a total of $47.61 after tax. We stacked the frito lay $10 off, the 20% off TRU couponwith credit towards Gill Grunt and 10% gift card value plus when we handed the cashier our frito lay coupon, she also took the $5 off coupon for Giants starter packs as well. We then got Magna Charge and Countdown with the b1g1 40% off. The we also found Enchanted Hoot Loop at Wal-Mart too! It was a good night.
Oh and Target has a special Super Bundle that includes Scarlet Ninjini! http://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=Skylanders+Swap+Force+Super+Starter+Bundle
I didn’t list that simply because it’s not much of a deal since they pad the bundle out with a bunch of crap.
Seriously! The only draw on that is the Scarlet Ninjini if you’re missing it, but yeah I have no interest in the accessories.
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed. All the info in one easy to read place. I will be going to TRU for LC Free Ranger & Grim Creeper, LC Star Strike, and Roller Brawl. Then across the street to hopefully find and Enchanted Hoot Loop. Then GameStop in the morning for the Dark Starter. Now I can rest until then 🙂
LOL @ “and that other game”
What other game? 😀
Ok, ok how about a guide to get one of every figure at the best price possible… exclusives, legend, etc.. with the understanding that thier is A dark start set and reg versions in the reg start set are not available loose .. ddd734
I don’t think there’s really an optimal path. Just buy the store exclusives then get everything else at TRU.
Amazing, thanks. I love this site to make it easy for the “kids” collecting. 😉 Having worked at VV, I can not wait to see all your boys and girls reactions to this game! YOU CAN NOW JUMP………….. Love Rhinosaurus
No problem although I don’t know how useful it will be for Canada. :3
Yea, I will mostly just be watching how much fun you guys (our neighbours to the south) are having. Dancing with your fancy Skylander variants and exclusives! At least we will have all the vanilla versions of the characters………….hopefully. 😉
I’ll actually be driving a couple hours to the US to make my purchases on Sunday. I don’t want to pay inflated ebay prices + shipping + duty.
I got email from TRU saying they didn’t have the game in stock yet and to await more info on the delay:

Everyone’s been getting this email. Apparently stores aren’t putting the starter packs into inventory correctly and this is an automated email. You can always call your local store to ask but I haven’t heard of a single person whose store did not have the game in stock.
TYVM! I was planning to call and confirm this. I spoke to their games associate yesterday and he was explaining the midnight release party, where the display would be reset, and even looked up for me the BOGO 40% sale. I assumed by his tone they already had all stock in the back.
